December 17, 2017 -- Waiting for Orders
.
Crew member waiting beside the Limber. The limber is a two-wheeled cart designed to support the trail of an artillery piece, allowing it to be towed. It was primarily to aid transportation and ease deployment, although they often included some ammunition holders as well.

on December 18, 2017I love the way this shows the two artillery pieces linked up. Usually I see them separate, or see just the cannon without its limber. Excellent capture.

on December 17, 2017This is excellent! I like this history that this represents. Everything is so sharp and crisp. I like the Autumn colors and the pop of red from the man's shirt. This is very well done!
