San Francisco Plantation House (Louisiana)
.
Built in 1849–50, it is one of the most architecturally distinctive and opulent plantation houses in the American South. Located near Garyville, Louisiana, it is a galleried house of the Creole open suite style, nestled under centuries old Live Oaks and contains one of the finest antique collections in the country. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1974. It is now a museum and event facility.

on December 10, 2018What a pretty old home. The architecture is really wonderful with the repeating patterns around the upper balcony and the blue colors that that are repeated throughout the home. Excellent shot.
