July 29, 2021 -- John Latta House
.
The John Latta house near Fayetteville, Arkansas. It was constructed by Mr. Latta in the early 1800s, as part of a settlement called “Vineyard” (from “The Lord’s Vinyard”). Vineyard was the first post office in Washington County (1829) and John Latta was postmaster here from 1835 to 1838 and conducted the office in this house.
